Nirvana were formed in 1985.At first it was just kurt cobain and Krist novoselic who were both fans of the Melvins.they recruited Aaron Burckhard creating the first Nirvana.
The pair went though many drummers before settling on a drummer Chad Channing.
There first album,bleach was realeased in 1989.It was influenced by The Melvins,Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.Chad was let go in 1990 and repalced by dave Grohl.
Nevermind was realeased in 1991 on which was the classic "smells lkie teen spirit".Kurt got married to Courtney Love in 1992.In Utero was realeased in 1993.In 1994 Cobains heroin addiction resurfaced,he went to rehab but escaped by climbing over a wall and flying back to Seattle.A week later on April 8th 1994 Cobains body was found by an electrician in his Seattle home.
Post Nirvana
Since Nirvana, Grohl recorded a series of demos which became the Foo Fighters debut album.
Novoselic formed Sweet 75 and also founded Eyes adrift with Curt Kirkwood.He also has become a political activist
