Metallica were formed in 1981.There first demo was called No life till leather.This quickly became popualar and they realeased there first album in 1983 "Kill em all".They realeased Ride the Lightning in 84,there reputation continued to grow worldwide.86 saw the realease of Master of puppets.On September 27th 86 the bands tour bus flipped killing the bassiet cliff Burton.but Lars,James and Kirk fought on and Jason Newsted was picked as the new bassiet.Justice for all came out in 88.In 1991 they realeased 'black' and then went on tour with Guns n Roses.ReLoad came out in 1997.In 2001 Jason Newsted left the band.In 2002 robert Trujillo was chosen as the new bassiet.St anger was realeased in 2002.
