HIM were formed in 1991 by Ville Hermanni Valo,Mikko Viljami,"Linde" Lindstrom and Mikko Heinrik Julius Paananen (known as Mige).
HIM started as a black sabbath cover group.Oirinally the name stood for his infernal majesty but soon dropped the name and now it remains HIM but the media tend to call them H.I.M.
The lineup has changed many times the band now consists of Valo (vocals),Linde(guitar),Mige(bass),Burton (keyboard) and gas (drums).
